Best Practices
Plan Ahead: Schedule posts several days or weeks in advance. This helps you maintain consistency and stay organized.
Know Your Audience: Schedule posts at times when your audience is most active on each platform.
Use Media: Posts with images or videos get better engagement. Always add relevant media when possible.
Check Before Scheduling: Review post content and preview before scheduling to avoid typos or errors.
Track Performance: Regularly check Analytics to understand what content performs best on each platform.
Using the Calendar View
The calendar view gives you a monthly overview of all your scheduled posts. This visual representation helps you see your content distribution across dates and plan your posting schedule more effectively.
Calendar Features:
- ✓ Month-based view of all scheduled posts
- ✓ Color-coded posts by platform
- ✓ Quick post count display per day
- ✓ Click dates to see detailed post information
How to Use Calendar Features
View Calendar
On the Dashboard, click the "📅 Calendar" button in the top right to switch from List view to Calendar view. Your posts will display on their scheduled dates.
Read Post Indicators
Each day shows the number of posts scheduled. Days with posts have colored indicators. Empty days have no indicators. Colors may vary by platform.
Navigate Months
Use the navigation arrows to move between months. The calendar automatically updates to show posts for the selected month.
Return to List
Click the "📋 List" button to go back to the list view with the Scheduled/Completed tabs. Both views show the same data, just organized differently.
Calendar Tips
Monthly Planning: Use calendar view to see your entire month's content at a glance and identify gaps in your posting schedule.
Balance Distribution: Aim for consistent post distribution throughout the month. Avoid clustering too many posts on certain days.
Plan Ahead: Schedule posts for the upcoming month at least a week in advance to stay organized and reduce last-minute stress.
Update Schedule: You can edit or delete scheduled posts anytime before they're posted. Use the calendar to quickly find posts you need to modify.
Review Before Posting: Take time to review scheduled posts the day before they're posted to ensure all content is accurate and appropriate.
Understanding Calendar Visual Elements
Date Numbers
Large numbers show calendar dates. Some dates may have small post count indicators.
Post Indicators
Colored dots or badges show when posts are scheduled for a specific date.
Navigation Arrows
Use arrows at the top of the calendar to navigate between previous and next months.
Post Status Colors
Different colors represent post status (green for completed, blue for scheduled) on different platforms.
Quick Tips for Maximum Productivity
Batch Create: Schedule multiple posts at once in a single session. This is more efficient than scheduling one post at a time.
Platform Specific: Customize content for each platform. What works on LinkedIn may not work on TikTok. Tailor your message.
Optimal Times: Post when your audience is most active. Morning (7-9 AM) and evening (7-9 PM) are usually best for most platforms.
Content Calendar: Keep a separate document with your content ideas. This helps you plan posts faster in Graphura.
Use Links Wisely: Include links to drive traffic, but don't overuse them. Balance promotional and organic content (80/20 rule).
